Stevie Duff coached the team in Sheffield and said, “This was an excellent opportunity for our youngest club members to get a taste of what it is like to play for the Phoenix and to travel down south for fixtures. The kids and their parents thoroughly enjoyed the trip, including the overnight stay at the Premier Inn. We are all looking forward to the next trip. On behalf of the players and parents, I’d like to thank our senior players that have done their coaching badges and that give up their time to coach the U12’s.” Lothian Phoenix assistent coach Shirley-Anne Smith said "A big thank you to Sheffield Steelers for organising the fantastic under 12s 3v3 tournament. Well done to Hannah, Ruairi, David, Sophia and Lemoni for such a great effort and good sportsmanship at their first ever tournament."
